2019 Holiday Shipping Deadline!

  • Order by December 13th, 2019 for UPS Ground delivery by December 24th. 
  • Order by December 19th, 2019 with UPS 3-Day Select delivery by December 24th.
  • Order by December 20th, 2019 with UPS 2nd Day Air delivery by December 24th.


HOLIDAY RETURN EXTENSION: Over the holidays (November through December), our return window is 60 days from the date of delivery for online orders. 

Online returns can be processed for payment credit within 30 days of shipment delivery date. Any return requests after 30 days of shipment delivery date can be made for an online store account credit. 

Returns are not accepted for the following items:  

  • Items that cannot be sold as "new"
  • Special ordered "non-stocking" items
  • Drop shipment items
  • Gift cards can not be returned or refunded

Defective Items:  

All defective items are eligible for in-store credit or replacement only. Sherper's will attempt to repair or replace your defective item under the vendor's terms. 

To Return Your Item:  

  1. Please include a copy of your order receipt in your package
  2. If making an exchange, please note the item and size which you are exchanging your purchased item for.
  3. Send all returns to:

  4. Once a package is received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 24-48 hours. 

Please Note:  

  • Returns or exchanges are sent back to our store at the purchaser's expense
  • If an item is being exchanged, we will cover shipment cost of the new item back to the customer on orders over $50.00. 
  • Shipping and expedited shipping charges are non-refundable


  • At this time Sherper's is unable to ship to Hawaii or internationally. We also are unable to ship large water sport items such as canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddleboards to Alaska.

If the items in your order which qualify for "free shipping" total $50.00 or more, those items will ship completely FREE! Items that do not qualify for "free shipping" that are in your order will be the only items that you are billed for at checkout, as shipping costs vary based on weight and size of the item. Unfortunately, most closeout, clearance and sale items are not eligible for free shipping. Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for free shipping.

All Orders Typically Ship within 24-48 Hours

Most orders placed Monday through Friday are shipped the same day if the order is submitted by 12:00 PM Central Time (depending on product availability). Orders submitted after 12:00 PM on Fridays will be processed to ship the following Monday. When your order is marked "shipped," you will receive an email containing the tracking number within 24 hours. Please allow up to 48 hours for shipment data to update, as tracking numbers are created before the item is physically picked up by UPS.

If for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled within 24-48 hours due to stock availability, a customer service representative will contact you with options regarding your order. 

In-Store Pick Up 

Customers can choose to pick-up their online order at our Hales Corners, WI location. If you choose this option at checkout, you will receive an email and phone call notifying you when your order is available and ready to be picked up in-store. Orders are typically available within 24-48 hours.

International & Other Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship or sell internationally at this time. We currently do not ship to Hawaii, and are unable to ship large water sport items such as canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards to Alaska. 

We Recycle

At Sherper's we care about the environment and attempt to recycle all packing materials. We receive many packages at our stores each day, and strive to use all of that packaging to ship your order before using any new packing materials. Stay green!

Canoes, Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards | How Do We Ship Our Large Watersports Gear?

Great question! Shipment of large canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards can be tricky. At Sherper's, our goal is to make sure your item arrives to you safely and without damage. All standard canoes, kayaks and SUPs are double wrapped in bubble wrap, with a third protective plastic wrap layer for extra durability during transit. Any specialty watercraft items, such as fiberglass kayaks or kevlar Wenonah canoes, are boxed in crates for extreme durability during transit. 

We ship our boats with Estes-Express LTL shipping services. For home deliveries, the nearest local terminal to your home will call to arrange a scheduled drop off time once the boat has arrived in your area. Please note: An adult must be present to sign for the delivery and to inspect the item upon arrival. If any damage is noted and the customer does not wish to keep the boat, the customer must deny the shipment and Estes-Express LTL will bring the item back to Sherper's. Once shipment is signed for, Sherper's is unable to offer refunds or assistance with damaged items. 

Prefer to pick up your boat? No problem! We can have your item shipped to the nearest local Estes-Express terminal, and customers may drive there to pick up their item. Or, if you live near one of our stores, we can offer free in-store pick up as well!

PLEASE NOTE: These items are not available for free shipping due to size and weight. An adult must be present to sign and receive the shipment of any canoe, kayak, or stand up paddleboard. 

In-Store Pickup of Canoes, Kayaks & Stand Up Paddleboards: Orders will usually be available for in-store pickup within 1-3 business days at the location designated at checkout if the item is available. We will notify you via email or phone call that your order has arrived at the designated Sherper's retail location and is ready for pickup.

In-Store Returns Policy

When returning items in-store, a valid state-issued photo ID and phone number are required as they will be used in a manner for authorizing and managing returns in our in-store database.

Returns are not accepted on the following items: 

  • Items that cannot be sold as "new"
  • Merchandise marked "as is"
  • Cut yard goods
  • Ammunition
  • Special ordered "non-stocking" items
  • Drop shipment items

Defective Items:

  • Refunds after 30 days of purchase will be given in the form of in-store credit
  • Original form of payment must be present to refund your payment
  • Refunds without a receipt will be given in the form of in-store credit and the item will be valued at it's lowest sale price
  • Items being returned with a gift receipt are eligible for in-store credit only
  • Any purchase paid for by check must allow 10 days from date of purchase to clear our bank before a cash refund is given
