Sherper's is proud to sponsor and help host alongside Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation the 2018 Kayak for a Cure!  Join us for a fun afternoon of kayaking Fowler Lake while raising money for BRPF.

Funding from this event helps BRPF continue important paralysis research, as well as provide charitable grants and scholarships. Since 2001, nearly $5 million has been raised by the Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation. Over $2.5 million has been awarded to researchers who are hard at work trying to find a cure for paralysis. These grants provide doctors a chance to research new ideas that otherwise would be left unexplored.

Close to $350,000 has been dispersed as charitable grants to help pay for items such as wheelchairs, wheelchair ramps, and van modifications for individuals suffering from paralysis.

Over $200,000 has been awarded as educational scholarships to individuals with neurological disabilities or their families to offset costs for post-secondary education.
