Shipping Costs

Qualifying items totaling $69.00 or more will ship completely FREE! Items that do not qualify for "free shipping" that are in your order will be the only items that you are billed shipping for at checkout, as shipping costs vary based on weight and size of the item. Please note that most closeout, clearance and sale items are not eligible for free shipping. Shipping addresses in Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for free shipping at this time.

Expedited shipping options are available for a fee at checkout.

Kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, and other larger items do not qualify for free shipping.

Our free shipping method is most commonly UPS Ground or FedEx for medium to large size items, and for smaller clothing items or accessories, USPS. 

When will my order ship?

Most orders placed Monday through Friday are shipped the same day if the order is submitted by 12:00 PM Central Time. Orders submitted after 12:00 PM on Fridays will be processed to ship the following Monday. When your order is marked "shipped," you will receive an email containing the tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking data to update, as tracking numbers are created before the item is physically picked up by UPS or USPS.

If for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled within 24-48 hours due to stock availability, a customer service representative will contact you with options regarding your order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most medium to large size items with free shipping are shipped via UPS Ground. Smaller items such as gloves, t-shirts, or lightweight objects will ship via USPS. Items shipped via USPS can take up to 5 days to receive once in transit. UPS Ground shipments can arrive as quickly as one day depending upon where you are located!

How are large watercraft items shipped?

All kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddleboards ship via FragilePak.

FragilePak is a damage free delivery service, guaranteeing your kayak or canoe arrives in ideal condition! Kayak deliveries via FragilePak can take between 3-6+ weeks for delivery, depending upon current demand, so make sure to plan your purchase accordingly. 

Kayaks are wrapped thoroughly with protective plastic, and transported directly by FragilePak from our warehouse to your home. Processing time can take one week, as we have weekly pick ups with FragilePak. When your boat reaches the nearest terminal to the shipping address, you will be able to schedule your delivery with FragilePak. Someone does need to be available to accept the delivery from FragilePak. While damage is very unlikely, it is still suggested to inspect your kayak and note any damage before the driver leaves. If you find any imperfections, please take photos and submit them to customerservice@sherpers.com within 24 hours of receiving your kayak. We will work with FragilePak to evaluate the damage and provide a resolution depending upon the level of damage.

How long will it take to receive?

FragilePak transports all items by hand between trucks, avoiding the use of equipment that can cause damage such as forklifts. Due to this, the shipping process does take longer! Shipping times are currently anywhere between 3 to 6 weeks on average for delivery, so please plan your purchase accordingly.

Do kayaks, canoes, and SUPs qualify for free shipping?

Do to the size and cost of shipping these items, most do not qualify for free delivery and have a fixed shipping cost. Please check the fee listed on the individual product page to find the shipping cost associated with the item you are looking to purchase.

In-Store Pick Up

In-Store Pick Up Available at all Sherper's Locations

Customers can choose to pick-up their online order at any of our three store locations. If you choose this option at checkout, you will receive an email and phone call notifying you when your order is available and ready to be picked up in-store. Orders are typically available within 24-48 hours.

Stolen or Lost Package Policy

What happens if my item is lost or stolen?

In the event that your package is successfully delivered, however, is unable to be located due to potential theft, OR if your package is lost in transit, Sherper's will work with the buyer to file a claim with the appropriate shipping carrier to help retrieve the package. In the event that the claim is approved by the shipping carrier, Sherper's will either refund the customer or provide a replacement package. If the claim is denied by the shipping carrier, Sherper's is unable to provide a refund or replacement.
