ALPS Mountaineering Zephyr 2 Person Tent

The Zephyr model is ideal for those hot, muggy nights when you want to feel a breeze in your tent. The walls are composed entirely of mesh, allowing maximum ventilation and fresh air. The unique 2 pole design gives you more head room to sit up, without feeling cramped. The Zephyr features aircraft alloy aluminum poles, which are strong and lightweight. There are two doors to make it easy to get in and out of the tent, and a vestibule over both doors for a great place to store your extra gear. The fly buckles to the tent, offering a much more secure attachment when compared to elastic cord. Incredible ventilation, great head room, and lightweight... a great combination, creating a high quality tent!

    Great Tent, EZ to setup

Posted by Jim on May 12th 2021

Purchased for a 3-day backpacking trip. I found the tent to be light enough for the trip as compared to pure backing tents. The 2-person gave me enough room to pull my bag inside and sit up. I am 6'1" so the extra room was awesome. I also like the double vestibules. I used onside for shoes and equipment and entered the other. Great Tent!!

    Great for the price

Posted by Caleb on Feb 8th 2021

Great for the price. Shipped super fast. Just as listed. I did buy the white and blue and it does not have a window in the back. It is on the heavier side if you backpack but great budget tent. Biggest con. Is the rain fly doesn’t cover the door very well when open. So when it’s raining water drips into the tent. Not a huge amount but a few drops off the fly will drop in. Just have your down sleeping bag at the foot end when setting up. Again I would highly recommend for the price.
